The end point of my Eurostar (ex-Thalys) trip was Gare Du Nord in Paris. Gare du Nord is Europe's leading railway station and the world's 3rd largest railway station in terms of traffic flows, welcoming over 220 million visitors a year. The building was inaugurated on 14 June 1846 with the opening of the Paris-Amiens-Lille line.

The Eurostar (Thalys) runs several times a day from London, Brussels, Antwerp, Liège, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Schiphol to Gare du Nord in Paris or Disneyland. With a speed of 320 km/h, the train will take you to your destination or romantic hotel in Paris in no time.

Even more frustratingly, anyone planning a ski trip after February 4 will need to book two separate train tickets and do a dash from Gare du Nord to Gare de Lyon for the onward journey from Paris.

Note that the Thalys is a reserved train and you can not just hop on and off at any stop. If you want to visit Brussels, you will need to buy 2 tickets.One from Amsterdam to Brussels and one from Brussels to Paris.If you decide to stop in Brussels and head straight to CDG, there is a TGV from Brussels Midi direct to CDG.. For a stop in Paris, you'll only need the one Amsterdam/Paris ticket as.

The Thalys to Paris Nord is waiting for passengers at the station Liège Guillemins on May 30th
Thalys operates a train from Paris Nord to Brussel-Zuid / Bruxelles-Midi hourly. Tickets cost €70 - €150 and the journey takes 1h 23m. Two other operators also service this route. Alternatively, Blablabus operates a bus from Paris - Bercy Seine to Brussels City Center - Midi Train station hourly. Tickets cost €19 - €29 and the journey.
